What clothes should I bring ?

We recommend you to bring clothing for the occasional cooler and rainy day, depending on the time of year. 

For yoga, hiking and training sessions you will need comfortable, flexible clothing, 

ie specialised sports clothing. You will also need training shoes and/or walking boots 

We also strongly recommend a hat or scarf, water bottle and a small back-pack to carry items, such as cameras and personal items. 

 

What level(s) of fitness and yoga do you cater for?

All levels of fitness and yoga are welcomed - from those seeing the week as a kick-start towards a healthier lifestyle, to those with high fitness levels who want to up the intensity further.  

Before the start of the retreat session you’ll need to complete a health and fitness form that will enable our wellness coaches to assess the right programme level for you.  

Completion of the health and fitness form, before the retreat, will enable our coaches to assess the fitness level of the group and thereby build a fitness program most suitable for the group standard that week.  

We have two hiking guides available so that everyone can walk at their own pace during the hikes. Within the group activities our trainers expect different levels of fitness and give individual attention. 

IBB will provide you enough time to discuss your personal fitness objectives to increase the effectiveness of your training.  

There are also other options, such as morning runs and additional circuit training sessions, depending on the group and individuals  .

 

What do the hikes involve ?

With several guides on each hike, there's a pace and level for everyone. 

You will enjoy breathtaking views and spectacular scenery and be invigorated by the clean mountain air.

 

Do you cater for dietary requirements ?

We do cater for your special dietary requirements and must be informed before the start of the retreat. 

 

Will I leave a lighter person ?

A wonderful amount of outdoor exercise combined with the carefully planned, nutritious detoxifying juices will lead to one feeling lighter and more energised (and with a little more room in those jeans). However, obviously for some guests weight loss is not the main focus. Theirs is to become fitter so we work with them to focus on their personal goals, for example: elevated aerobic fitness or improved muscle tone or flexibility.  

As for the mind, YES you will leave lighter, brighter, less stressed and a happier individual. That is our aim!
