Astrid
Astrid our Retreat Leader and Fitness Co-ordinator has her own successful Ibiza Body Business. Holistic wellness always played a central role in her life. She practices what she preaches in all aspects of fitness, clean food and well being. As a qualified personal trainer she has a particular interest in functional training.
Her passion for traveling and culture lead her to learn about buddhism and she went to Thailand to join a meditation retreat in a monastery for a month it was a life changing experience. She has worked all over the world as a personal trainer and retreat organiser
Astrid’s exercises and fitness programs are designed to coach people with cardio, endurance, strength, power, speed, agility, flexibility and weight-loss management the classes containing a deep breathing component at the beginning and end which helps restore balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system. Astrid has a holistic view of health: 'Good health is more than physical fitness alone'.
Here at Mariposa Retreats functional exercise and fitness programs are designed to assist you in many ways of cardio fitness, endurance , strength, power, weight loss ,stress management, flexibility and stability.

Patricia Regoyo
Patricia Maniposa's wonderful vegan chef moved to Ibiza in 2007 and after a life change she turned things around left her job as a Hotel Front Desk Manager and opened up space to new things in her life mainly her passion creating beautiful wholesome food.
Her passion became her profession and her life changed .
Introducing Wellness and becoming a Vegan has brought her a balance, a healthier life and a lot of happiness,
The food you will consume won’t be boring just healthy “cruelty free” delicious and almost too pretty to eat.
THE YOGA TEACHER
Jojo Smith
Jojo has been practising yoga for over eight years ,she’s explored many styles of yoga and completed her 200 hour Unity Flow training (IYN) in Brighton where she now lives. Her classes are influenced by Hatha yoga and Iyengar yoga, bringing precision and alignment into a meditative flowing practice. Jojo is passionate about yoga being for everyone regardless of age, level or ability.
The classes she will bring to you will have many breathing techniques, mindful postures and mantras to chant. The practice at Mariposa Retreats is about letting go and enjoying the journey. Beginning with a simple flow of postures and sun salutations to gently awaken the body and mind, finding a perfect balance of strength and flexibility and learning to accept to balance our effort and surrender in each pose. With focus on the breath throughout the attention becomes more present in the moment. Then finishing with some restorative yoga poses for profound rest and relaxation. This is a peaceful but sometimes intense journey into gradually opening up the body and dealing with emotional issues.
You will be encouraged to listen to your mind, body and emotions and release any tensions, restoring balance and leaving you feeling tranquil, calm and more connected with yourself.
THE HOLISTIC THERAPIST
Samantha Paris
Samantha started her journey as a Beauty Therapist over a quarter of a century ago. She had often been told of her natural healing abilities and healing hands from her clients . Samantha then tuned into her natural abilities to love and heal by trusting and aligning with the divine energies that had always been within.
Through acceptance and surrender in 2014 Samantha awakened the truth in her heart and started her inwardly sacred soul journey. She began full filling her life’s purpose. Through commitment and spiritual practise, trials and tribulations,seeking and forever learning and evolving she now aspires to reach out and touch as many hearts and souls as she can to share her gifts and wisdom and bring peace balance, love, joy and harmony to humanity.
Samantha qoutes; “ healing means to become whole again wholeness leads to fullness which leads to inner peace and inner peace leads to outer peace”.
